SUMMARY- I eagerly bought this volume after enjoying "500 Art Quilts" so much - and they gave me exactly what I had wanted in that book, Bios of the artists. With a few exceptions, most of the art quilts in this volume left me puzzled and "meh." I have no doubt it took serious time and effort to make each one, they just didn't speak to me - but I'm neither sophisticated nor artistically educated, so of course your mileage may vary.
