SUMMARY- Harry Houdini(born Erich Weiss in 1874) was a fascinating person who led a remarkable life. He died mysteriously on Halloween in Detroit in 1926 with almost as many enemies as admirers. He is best known for his amazing escapes, and for debunking the sceance and mystics crowd(hence a lot of enemies) trying to find some proof of the supernatural. I don't have an original edition of Houdini's Paper Magic - way too pricey for my blood - but I am very happy with the 2007 reproduction. There is a lot of interesting reading in each section, and if you're interested in the history of paper in the world of magic, I think this is a must read.
