SUMMARY- This is primarily a gallery book of Tomoko Fuse's artwork, with a short personal biography. Sooo much eye candy! She gives some fold diagrams in the last chapter, but I could not follow them. I think you would need to be an expert to decode them. The gold mine for me was the huge bibliography(87 books!) with the Japanese titles and their translations given. I am in bibliographer heaven right now. It's rare for all of this information to be given to me without having to mine for every small piece. They're even given in chronological order(my prefered order), so I don't even have to rearrange the entries. The ISBNs aren't given, but I at least know what I'm looking for! This is a beautifully bound hardcover book with a white dust jacket. Ms. Fuse had been publishing and showing her work for nearly 40 years at the time this book was published - so a beautiful capstone on a career that isn't finished yet. If you are interested in this artist and want to see a large sampling of her work and have a checklist of her published work, this is the book to pick up. If you're just looking for models to make, then you've got your choice of over 100 books, if you're not choosy about which language it is in. She has been translated into many languages other than her native Japanese, and a respected master of her art worldwide.
