SUMMARY- I was able to follow the diagrams until I got up to the horse - my skill level is that of well-practiced novice, as I learned the basics when I was nine, and have practiced what I learned(ball, cup, butterfly, etc) quite a lot over the intervening years, but never pushed myself further than that in this discipline until relatively recently. There are several really cool models in this kit. I was happy to add it to my library.
