SUMMARY- This is not traditional origami. That said, there's a lot of fun to be had in this kit. Karakuri is the Japanese word for Automaton(robots). All the models come preprinted on 24 sheets of paper, and 16 punch-out sheets of light cardstock. You get an instruction booklet for assembly. The models are designed to be played with, and can do something other than look cute - a cool way to explore different principles of cause and effect. Mr. Dewar has cheerful enthusiasm for his subject matter, and clearly loves it. I'm really glad he shares that love with us.
