SUMMARY: Even though production values were low(thin newsprint, grainy black and white photos) this periodical is stuffed full of Ooh-La-La! patterns - especially for crochet and tatting. If you like heirloom quality pieces to scatter about the house, this is a treasure trove of patterns and ideas. Just going through them for this bibliography page has forced me to find my tatting toolbox(yes, I use toolboxes for my crafts as well as my carpentry). I've also decided I absolutely Have to learn how to crochet. There are obviously way too many cool things you can do with it. If you're looking for "Modern" looks and trendy designs - you're looking in exactly the wrong place. But I don't think "Classy" ever goes out of style.

This was one of the many homes of Myrtle M. Hamilton's tatting articles - a designer extraordinaire who never put out a book but instead published 100s of articles in many magazines including(but not limited to) "Workbasket", "Stitch'n Sew", "Old Time Crochet Patterns & Designs", "McCall's Needlework and Craft" and of course, "Olde Time Needlework"...

It's driving me nuts that I'm down to finding one single solitary issue: Winter 1980...

...And five years later, finally found it! We now have a complete run of "Olde Time Needlework"! That's one more title I can put on the DONE pile(Leigh doing her Snoopy dance)
