SUMMARY: This is another beautifully done needlework magazine with really lovely projects for crochet, embroidery and filet crochet, with token tatting patterns sprinkled throughout its run. I only have the one sample issue so far, but what I've seen tells me I really want all of them, even if they don't all have tatting patterns and are in Polish. All of the patterns are diagrammed instead of written out(this includes the crochet) and the filet designs tend to be large projects that aren't just tiling motifs and have a lot of visual appeal. This is a magazine you can make family heirlooms from! Nothing "Quick and Easy".

The tatting pattern in my sample issue is on the last two pages, and is a lovely collar done in red thread by designer Laura Bziukiewicz. She is the only designer whose name is given in this issue. Jan Stawacz published in this magazine between 2003 and 2007. Not every issue has a tatting pattern, but of the ones I've seen, they are quality designs worth hunting down.

They have a website: www.kej.wroc.pl
