SUMMARY: My buddy Zendelle found a handful of these in a raffle at a doll show - and won! We're very happy and excited to be able to start the catalog for this title. This was a nicely produced digest-sized magazine that strove for a balance of news on commercially available dolls, information on old dolls, a pattern for those who sew, and paper dolls. When Ms. Meyer closed down in December 1982, she enclosed a nice note explaining why, and assuring her subscribers they would still be getting a doll magazine to fulfill their subscriptions - Audrey Lovell's "Doll Times." We have one full year of the issues, and would like to fill in the rest. If you have issues to donate or sell, please get in touch!
HOW TO MAKE THIS MAGAZINE CATALOG SEARCHABLE:
METHOD ONE(downside is it takes some effort and time):
1. Open a blank page in your favorite word processing program.
2. Right click and "SELECT ALL"
3. Right click and "COPY"
4. "PASTE" or CTRL"V" what you copied into the blank page(it could take a while depending on the size of the page)
5. Use the search function as you normally would. Try to stick to only one word, since authors will sometimes use their middle initial, then not, change names, etc.
6. Trash the blank page when you're done.
METHOD TWO(downside is you have to wade through a lot of HTML code to read the entries):
1. Right click and "VIEW SOURCE". This will bring up a second window that will give you a behind-the-stage look at my coding along with the entries. There is a search function on source pages.
Use it as you would the search function for a word processor(see METHOD 1). Close the Source page when you're done.
