Title: Second Book of Modern Lace Knitting(Dover Knitting, Tatting and Lace Making Series)
Edited by: Marianne Kinzel

Language: English

Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 11" x 8 1/2"
ISBN: 048622905X

SUMMARY- I've never come across any of the original patterns she published as individual booklets, though I've collected all the tatting patterns she also published designed by G. May Smith. There are very good reasons why Marianne's patterns are so prized and eagerly sought. Marianne was still alive in 1972 and able to give her consent to the reprinting of the book she published through Mills & Boon Ltd. in 1961. She even wrote a new Preface for the Dover edition. I don't have a copy of the original to compare, but the Dover edition is a corrected republication. I do have almost a complete listing of the original series of booklets below, for those who wish to compare - or have a wishlist for treasure hunting.
