SUMMARY- This book passes my tests for candlemaking instructions for rank beginners. It goes into practical safety, shows how to use common materials for practical molds and tells the crafter to use a thin taper or candle inside an ice candle. I've encountered a surprising number of books that leave that out. What you'll get is a candle that burns out within minutes of lighting the wick. When I was first taught how to make these candles, by mom also added strips of foil, which bounced the light around inside the candle and made it glow even more. This book is aimed at people who haven't done any candle making, and gives you a light scattering of pleasant projects that would be fun to do with kids.
