Title: Dressing the Historical Teddy Bear
Author: Sheila Lile
Publication Date: TPB:1988
Publisher: Hobby House Press, Inc., Cumberland, MD
Page Count: 36
Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 11" x 8 1/2"
ISBN: 087588332X
PATTERN RATING: Patterns are full-size, very well marked, and would be easy to photocopy. She gives you the size of the bear(and who manufactured it) at the beginning of each costume instruction page.
INSTRUCTION RATING: Instructions are well broken down into numbered steps, but don't have any illustration to help the novice.
SUMMARY- You may have to adjust the sizes of the patterns depending on the size of your bear, and this isn't a novice thing to try, so Ms. Lile's series of costumes for bears are geared for more experienced sewers. You get 4 adorable outfits in this book. This is the last of this series - really wish she'd kept going!
