Title: Making Adorable Teddy Bears from Anita Louise Crane's Bearlace Cottage
Author: Anita Louise Crane
Publication Date: HC:1995; TPB:1996
Publisher: Sterling Publishing Co., Inc., NY
Page Count: 144
Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 11" x 8 1/2"
ISBN: HC:0806909927; TPB:0806909935
PATTERN RATING: You get a nice variety of bear patterns(but not the clothes they're modelled in), all full-sized and marked with the old A-B-C method. They have grainlines marked, but not seam allowances. The photos are all soft-focus, so good luck picking up any details. The photos were meant to show off Ms. Crane's dressed bears, rather than really help the crafter.
INSTRUCTION RATING: You get general instructions that are broken down by body part then further into numbered steps, but only a little illustration to go with them. Then you get further specific instructions with each teddy pattern, but no further illustration to go with the specific instructions.
SUMMARY- Because of the lack of illustration, I wouldn't recommend this book to a beginner, but it does have a nice variety of bears in it, and would make a nice addition to a more experienced crafter's teddy pattern collection.
