SUMMARY- Whenever I see that an author has provided a bibliography, I badly want to reach through the pages of the book and hug them - and I'm not a hugger by nature. They tackled a very difficult subject with a lot of enthusiasm and beautiful photography of examples. No one can provide a complete publishing record - those records were destroyed with the bombing of London. But the Whittons are able to piece together quite a bit of history and detail it in a reasonably linear fashion to give you an idea of the progress of the publishing house.
