SUMMARY- This is an expansion of the talks that Ms. Ferguson used to give to women's groups in the Chicago area. She clearly loves her subject and gives a lot of wonderful historical information and evolution of the paper doll that is both entertaining and illuminating. I loved reading this book for its own sake. It didn't hurt that she then ended it with a great bibliography of books and periodicals to expand my reading list. This was a great find that I picked up on a whim - really happy I did so.
