Title: Dough Dolls
Author: Kay Ohlsen
Publication Date: TPB:1974
Publisher: Mangelsen's, Omaha, Neb.
Page Count: 23
Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 11" x 8 1/2"
ISBN: None
INSTRUCTION RATING: Instructions for the individual characters are well broken down into steps, and you get templates for each part of the character to cut out and then piece together.
SUMMARY- You don't get a dough recipe with this booklet, oddly enough - they encourage you to use their Dough Art Mix, which hasn't been available for about 3 decades now! The designs are very elaborate and cute.
Here's the dough recipe that I have:
BASIC DOUGH RECIPE
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups salt
1 tsp. alum
1 1/2 cups water
Mix well with hands in large bowl. If dough is too dry,
work in 1 Tablespoon of water with hands. Dough can be
colored by dividing into different portions and using a
few drops of food coloring kneaded into each ball.
