Title: How to Dress an Old-Fashioned Doll
Author: Mary Morgan
Publication Date: TPB:1973(reprint of the 1908 classic: How to Dress a Doll published by Henry Altemus Company, Philadelphia)
Publisher: Dover Publications, Inc. NY
Page Count: 95
Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 8 1/2" x 5 1/4"
ISBN: 0-486-22912-2
PATTERN RATING: . Patterns need to be enlarged, have no markings whatsoever, and aren't even gridded.
INSTRUCTION RATING: . Instructions are not broken down in any way and there are no illustrations to help in construction, other than the basic sewing tutorials in the first few chapters.
SUMMARY- I'm glad I bought the reprint rather than going to the extra expense of finding a first edition. For a doll collector, the first edition may have some great sentimental value, but there are easier ways of working up the basic patterns given here.
