INSTRUCTION RATING:. Instructions are not broken down in any way and there are no illustrations to help in construction, other than the basic sewing tutorials in the first few chapters.

SUMMARY- I'm glad I bought the reprint rather than going to the extra expense of finding a first edition. For a doll collector, the first edition may have some great sentimental value, but there are easier ways of working up the basic patterns given here.
