MILITARY MINIATURES MODELLINGI used to do a lot of this, and have a modest library of books - and a whole lot of paint and sculpting tools. The paints probably aren't usable any more, it's been so long, but I got pretty good at it, and loved spending my weekends moving Napoleonic armies and Battlemechs and Tank units across my friend Ed's sand table. I'd spend the week leading up to these forays working on the best custom figures and paint jobs I could manage. I was good at it. And my armies and tanks had the right colors because I also coughed up the money for those expensive imported OSPREY books that most military miniaturists covet, so I've paid my dues. My library for this isn't as large as I'd like it to be, but it's the largest of my miniatures libraries. If you can help me expand this, please get in touch. The link to my contact page is below. |
