Title: Make Your Own Dollhouses and Dollhouse Miniatures
Author: Marian Maeve O'Brien
Publication Date: HC:1975
Publisher: Hawthorne Books Inc., NY
Page Count: 274
Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 11 1/4" x 8 3/4"
ISBN: 0801548012
SUMMARY- This was written well before the introduction of polymer clay to miniaturists, and she doesn't mention any of the varieties of clay that were available to the miniaturist in the 1970's. Considering its versatility and usefulness, I think that is a big oversight. With that caveat, I can say I was really delighted to read this one, as there is a whole lot of details packed into its pages with lots of illustration and engaging copy. There is a small section of color photographs in the center of the book - the rest is black-and-white.
