Publisher: Distinctive Design, Inc., West Haven, CT
Page Count: 9
Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 12" x 9"

PATTERN RATING:Star Rating There is only one pattern given, and that's for the tux coat for the groom. Details are painted on to it. All the other costumes are made from strips of fabric folded and stitched into place on the soft sculpture body.

INSTRUCTION RATING:Star Rating Instructions are broken down to costume features(skirt, bodice, slippers, etc) and are fairly simple to follow. Not a lot of useful illustration to back them up.

SUMMARY- I'm unclear whether there is a companion booklet with the pattern for making the soft sculpture troll, or whether the designer just sold the dolls. For fans of troll dolls, this might be useful for dressing yours cheaply. Measurements given for these costumes were specifically for the designer's 14" soft sculpture Trolls.

JULY 2022- I finally solved the mystery of the missing Troll doll - it was sold as a kit! Your kit came with the pattern, an iron-on transfer for the features, enough stretchy flesh-colored velour to make 1 doll, and a braid of either green, yellow, pink or blue fiber for the hair - you supply your own fiberfill and fabric paint(or the features could be embroidered).
