SUMMARY- Blink. Well, that happened. I didn't know what to expect, but I enjoy macramé and I've been on a puppet kick lately, and I was curious and not actually adverse to gnomes, so I hunted down a copy and ordered it. Curiosity brings the oddest things to my doorstep, and I'm happy about that. When I was typing in the Table of Contents, I saw that there was also a Peacock Puppet in among the clown and gnome projects, and that got me enthused. The instructions are written as though you know nothing at all about macramé other than the most obvious. Between the careful instructions and the illustrations that support them, I think you could still make these figures. Only Mary Baughn and Kathey Browne macraméd the heads - the rest are mixed media projects. None of the projects particularly appealed to me as is, but the designs are inventive and the techniques adaptable to other projects.
