SUMMARY- This isn't really a pattern book - but provides tons of useful information, nontheless. I was pleasantly surprised, and proves you can't judge a book by its cover. It gives a great overview of different kinds of puppets, lots of pictures of professional puppets(mostly black-and-white) used in theatre and television work. It also has great chapters on staging and lighting, and an overview of the most common mistakes made as a puppeteer. It was well worth reading.
