INSTRUCTION RATING: Instructions are broken down for each project and have some illustration to help the sewer. There is a Gorgeous full-color photo of each doll that lets you see good detail.
BONUS MECHANICS RATING: This book gets a couple of bonus stars for its innovations and general techniques sections that help the dollmaker build on their own ideas for a doll.
SUMMARY- There are 10 doll projects by 10 different artists - and they all look wonderful. I didn't know what to expect from this book when I first got - and am thrilled that I discovered it. All the dolls are so different, and none of them are remotely generic. I would happily recommend this book to anyone looking for more creative approaches to cloth doll making.
