Title: Knit & Purl Pets: 20 patterns for little pets with big personalities
Author: Claire Garland
Publication Date: TPB:2010
Publisher: David & Charles, Cincinnati, OH
Page Count: 128
Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 11" x 8 1/4"
ISBN: 0715336673
PATTERN RATING: You get a fun variety of patterns in this book.
INSTRUCTION RATING: Instructions are well broken down and easy to read. Instructions for putting them together are short and without illustration. Better know what you're doing already.
SUMMARY- Photography isn't what I'd hope for in a craft book - went for artistic shots and often blurred out detail for effect. I find this annoying when I'm trying to figure out how something goes together. I want clear shots from different angles. The editor dropped the ball on this one. The patterns are engaging and full of personality - I liked the toys themselves and there is a solid variety here. I would recommend this book.
