PATTERN RATING: Most patterns are full-size - those that are not are gridded. She does minimal markings on her patterns, but offers a huge variety that anyone with moderate sewing skills can probably handle.

INSTRUCTION RATING: Instructions for projects are broken down into numbered paragraphs, and don't have a lot of illustration to refer to if you get stuck. The patterns aren't typically complicated, so someone with moderate sewing skills won't have a problem, but if you're a complete novice, it's possible you could get unsatisfactory results.

SUMMARY- There are a huge variety of patterns in this book, though most are not for toys. Enough are, though, that I feel I can include this book in the bibliography. She loves animal applique, and there's a lot of this and other kid-oriented projects as well that make this book a fun one to have on the shelves if you have kids(or grandkids!).
