PATTERN RATING:
. Patterns need to be enlarged, but do have seam allowances (yes, I know I'm unreasonable about this). There is a huge variety of patterns for both decorative and functional items - not all of which are toys, of course, but enough are to be included in this review section! I particularly liked the music box clown, Bootsaver Clem Clodhopper, and Aunt Goldie, the life size doll. The book suggests sitting her near a window to keep burglars away! Since I've done much the same thing with my armor stand, it's not without merit.
INSTRUCTION RATING:
. The instructions are pretty solid, with a good bit of illustration to go with them. I'd have liked a little more for a rank beginner.
